Dianne Lynnette Aguirre, Fine Artist
Many new upsizing homeowners face the challenge of empty, uninspiring walls in their larger space. Those blank surfaces make rooms feel unfinished and impersonal, especially when you're ready to host social gatherings or impress business clients. You want a home that reflects sophistication and refinement, one that feels truly your own and helps close deals with confidence.
Dianne understands this struggle because she has spent her career turning spaces into something meaningful.
With 40+ years as a professional artist, Dianne has built a career transforming spaces through her work. In 1984, she discovered the power of murals while seeking larger canvases to express her vision more fully, and that moment launched her into creating impactful, large-scale pieces for homes and businesses. From 1990 to 1997, she owned Aguirre Fine Art in Portland, Oregon, producing 39 paintings and 32 custom murals for homes, hotels, restaurants, malls, and businesses across Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Alaska, and California. She often partnered with interior designers to create pieces that fit perfectly.
In 1997, she moved to Reno and opened Aguirre Art, adding about 30 paintings and 70 murals for homes, casinos, hotels, restaurants, schools, churches, parks, and fitness centers in the Reno-Sparks-Carson City area. Standout projects include interiors in ArrowCreek, Caughlin Ranch, Double Diamond, Galena, and Montreux; public exteriors at Silverlake Park and Tengo Un Sueno Preschool; and murals for Monte Vigna Ristorante at the Atlantis Casino and Romanza Ristorante at the Peppermill Casino.
Recognition came through ribbons at the Nevada State Fair (multiple firsts, seconds, thirds, and honorable mentions from 1987 to 2001), Best of Show and People's Choice awards at Artown events, participation in community shows like Starving Artist Sale, and leadership as Vice President (2003) and President (2004) of the Nevada Artists Association.
In 2008, a serious accident brought chronic pain and multiple surgeries (three spine, two knee replacements, wrist, and jaw). Work slowed from 2008 to 2023 to occasional commissions only, but she pushed through. In 2024, she returned to full production with renewed passion.
Today, my focus is stylized realism vineyard paintings, capturing the beauty of wine regions across the United States and soon to include France and Spain. These originals and prints add timeless elegance and sophistication to any home or office.
Dianne helps new upsizing homeowners go from empty, uninspiring walls in their new home to elegant, vineyard-inspired spaces so they can confidently host social gatherings and impress business clients, closing deals in a home that feels truly their own.
